What we think
Winzingo Bingo
There are so many virtual Bingo halls up and running today that it seems crazy to try and squeeze in even one more. For one thing what would you call it? Most of the names that we can think of are already spoken for. A name is very important as that is the very first impression a player is ever going to have of your site. You want them to be intrigued and interested, not indifferent. Winzingo has stepped outside of the virtual naming box to find something different and exciting. After all, who can resist checking out a place called Winzingo Bingo?
Naming fun aside, if a site does not offer top level security on all fronts, then we are just not interested. This is some very sensitive information we are about to throw out there and we can't trust it to just anybody. At Winzingo Bingo their business partner, The Gaming Network, or TGN, has got things under control. They have been behind some of the biggest names in online gaming and have earned a first rate reputation for integrity and security. You can play in peace knowing everything is well taken care of.
With a name like Winzingo driving us we were very surprised by the complete lack of zing in the overall look and feel of the page. It never pays to assume anything, and in this case we assumed that this site would just look vibrant and fun on all fronts. They did score well on functional navigation, but that could be as much from lack of graphics as a well laid out plan. On an up-side, new players will have no trouble finding anything they cold possibly need. We took ourselves on a tour and found the CMs to have fantastic spirit even if the site as a whole lacked it.
Their home page may have left us wanting more, but the software certainly did not. The games at Winzingo Bingo are powered by Parlay, a very well respected non-downloading package. Non-downloading means that the game will stream from the site rather than loading on your home computer. This software is also great because it uses a very advanced delivery that combines chat and Bingo in to one complete unit. Players are sorted directly into a chat room as soon as they enter the games, but if you're not in a chatting mood you can opt out or switch rooms no problem. You will find that you have your choice of either 90 or 75-ball Bingo, what ever mood you're in. And the halls are ready and waiting any time, day or night. The CMs are always there for guidance and we really enjoyed interacting with them. If you need a little intermission entertainment, then spend some time in the casino area. Winzingo has a nice selection here, and the games are all very well done in the same non-downloading format.
If you like ever changing promotions and non-cash prizes, then you will be right at home at Winzingo Bingo. The site has some great offers, such as vouchers from Toni & Guy and M&S. Winzingo also runs a really cool weekly promotion where players submit ideas for future prizes. This is a great way to make everyone feel involved and like their opinions really matter. And it assures that Winzingo keeps a good bead on what is important to their customers. This is a win/win situation all the way around. We would like to see improvement in one area here and that is the lack of freepaly options. It is so thoughtful when halls take the steps to open this up to players. You can prolong your fun, or just spend time warming up if that is what you need.
When we spent some time with customer support they proved to be on their game. They answered every question accurately and with a professional attitude. You just have to be sure and catch them while they are in. Customer Support at Winzingo Bingo operates with normal business hours of 9 to 5, Monday thru Friday. So always check the time before you try to call. Incidentally free phone is only available to customers in the UK; all other guests will want to try the e-mail option.
Our review of Winzingo certainly had it up's and down's. The site shows real promise in several areas and no real hope in others. We would like to see some key improvements to bring certain things, such as design and customer support, up to the industry standards. The Parlay software goes a long way to improve game quality and thus the overall score for the hall. At the present the best way to describe Winzingo Bingo is that they are a true diamond in the rough. All the right pieces are in place for them to be truly great; they just need to be polished.
