Would You Spend Almost *£20,000 on Your Kids 6th Birthday Party?

I feel sick after reading about this little girls 6th birthday party and seeing the birthday wish of her Mum, for her – get this:
- £1,850 on invitations
- £1,295 on cake – 9 tiers
- 42 Floral centrepieces
- Cinderalla Carriage – similar to the one Jordan had for her wedding!
- Jugglers and Jesters
- Hair and Makeup Team – yep, I said TEAM!
- Older Brother – BRIBED with £62 to hand out the invitations
However, the little princess was not happy with her cake, because it was not the right colour!! Sorry to say this, but - WTF??!! Her Mother explained that she was a bit of a ‘perfectionist’ – LOL – what does a 6 yr old know about perfection…surely they should still be running around outside, or in the house, getting covered in muck!!
Guess what – here is the massive surprise – Gracie, who had an entire team of stylists and hair and beauty experts at hand, didn’t want any of them, she preferred – SHOCKER!! – her Mum! I can hardly believe that a 6yr old would want her Mum?? ;)
I really have to watch this programme – TLC - to find out what some parents are now doing to their kids – talk about WAY too much money!! If these kids never want for anything, when will they ever grow up and want to DO anything? How will they learn to focus, or have a lasting ambition for anything? Will they even want to work? Her Mum had a budget of £9,250 and spent double that, making sure her husband footed the rest of the bill.
Gracie is a 6yr old child – she wants whatever you, as the mother, want to give her…that party wasn’t for Gracie, it was the worst kind of self-indulgence I have seen in a long time…My kid gets what she is given, end of!
Looks like GREAT entertainment – but, what on earth are they breeding over there??!! The real world will gobble them up and leave them unable to be truly happy, cause as we all know, money can’t buy you love!
