How they rank

Winzingo Bingo

We make our way through a fair number of online Bingo halls and the fact remains that most of the good names are taken. Prospective companies have to become more and more creative to come up with something new and innovative while still being inviting. At Winzingo we think they hit the ball out of the park on that one. A fun and light hearted name it just makes us think of winning with flair. Winzingo may have won the name battle, but they still have to fight the war. After all, if the Bingo is sub par then nothing else really matters, does it?

In today's day and age it is very important for all players to take the time and look into who they are spending their time and money with. You want a firm, solid reputation for delivering a safe and secure playing environment. Winzingo takes this very important fact into account by partnering with TGN, The Gaming Network Ltd. TGN is a very big dog in the online gaming fight and they take customer security very seriously. What this means to you is that they will do all the work so you don't have to.

We walked through the virtual doors of Winzingo Bingo expecting to be blown away by a stunning combination of visuals and animations. We were wrong. The layout is so simple that it borders on boring. One up side to the lack luster look is that it lends itself to simple navigation. Never one to look a gift horse in the mouth, we took advantage of this fact and showed ourselves around. The new member area was clearly marked and full of helpful tidbits to make your visit run smoothly. It was nice to see that the CMs were bright and cheerful; much more what we had in mind for this site. They need to work on their image, as no one wants to pull a diamond ring out of a doggie bag.

We did some digging and found out that Winzingo is hiding some serious power under the hood. Winzingo is running their games using a very nice software package called Parlay. Parlay happens to be high quality non-downloading software that is currently being run by some of the tops site out there. Just seeing that name was enough to have us running for registration. After we jumped through all the necessary hoops it was time to play. Winzingo Bingo keeps a nice balance by offering 75 and 90-ball choices for their players. We thought that the traffic ran a bit heavier in the 90-ball halls, but that is probably due to the strong UK influence found here. Since Parlay is running the game, you know that it loads quickly and is presented attractively. It was a very nice surprise to discover that the chat loads up right into the main screen just the way we like it. That is so much cleaner than having a separate window to clutter up our screen. CMs reign supreme in their rooms, and did a very nice job of keeping things moving. Since it is always good to have a side dish along with the main course, Winzingo delivers a set of casino options for your gaming pleasure. We tried our hand briefly at each one and have to highly recommend the Roulette as it played better here than in some actual casinos. Stop by any time you find yourself needing a little something different.

Promotions are an area that always proves hard to predict. Sites that you are just sure will blow you away will have absolutely nothing, while the most unsuspecting hall will have it all. Winzingo Bingo goes the extra mile in this category by offering up a few new and different options. First, their players have the chance to shoot for some really lovely non-cash vouchers to places like M&S and Toni & Guy. Also every week there is an in house contest to see what player suggested promotion will be rolled out next. You really never know what you're going to get. The only improvement we would like to see here would be the addition of freeplays on at least a portion of the games. This is one perk that is currently up and running at nearly all of Winzingo's big rivals.

Now no matter how well designed a site is, sooner or later you are going to need some help. At Winzingo, you had better hope that your problem crops up Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. That's right folks; customer support is only available live during those times. When we contacted them we did find them to be very professional and helpful, but that won't do you any good at midnight. And lets be honest most of us don't get our big chance to play during the work week. Customers will find both freephone, for UK customers, and e-mail options. Just be patient and the answers will come.

This review ended up being quite the roller coaster of emotions for us. We loved the name, but didn't the look. Then the games were great, but what about customer support. Overall the glitches were relatively minor and did not affect our actual game play in the least. Winzingo Bingo is still new, and they have plenty of room to grow. Actually it might be kind of fun to see what they come up with in the future. They show brief flashes of innovative genius which over time could extend to the entire site. If you enjoy a great game of Bingo from a hall that really is working hard to improve your experience, then Winzingo Bingo may be the place for you.
