Jackpot Joy Bingo

The name Jackpotjoy is getting a lot of attention these days in the world on online Bingo. It seems as though these newbie's burst onto the scene to create quite a stir. They set their sights right for the top, and in February of 2005 they got there. Validated by Durlacher, an independent corporate analyst, is seems as though Jackpotjoy runs the most popular game in the UK. Players love them, and after we stopped by to check things out a bit, we are beginning to understand why.

Jackpotjoy is run by a company called Gamesys, a group that is owned and operated right here in the UK. Gamesys has been busy, managing to accomplish quite a bit in a relatively short amount of time. They are doing so well that in 2004 eGaming Review named them to be the "Soft Gaming Operator of the Year." While we are not really sure what this title means, it sure does sound impressive. All fancy names aside, a site like this is not going to skimp on security. You don't get named the most popular site in the UK if your players don't have confidence in your abilities.

When we arrived at the site we found that Bingo is just part of the fun to be had at Jackpotjoy. The site really looks great with a nice balance of color and graphics and a good navigation system. Players can choose their poison from any number of temptations right off the main page. Everything from Keno to Slots to Bingo and beyond are right here, ready and waiting. We had to stop and stare for a moment at the impressive Jackpots. Just the sight of them had us running to register.

One small problem, they got us all excited and then we couldn't find registration. It just took a minute, but the button really is small and it fades into the background with all the other bells and whistles going off. Once we found it the process was easy to complete and we were on our way. Now, bring on the Bingo!

And what wonderful Bingo it is! The game offered at Jackpotjoy is probably the most well executed we have had the joy of playing. One of the best parts of the whole system is the player's game console. The console is like having the controls to the mother ship all right at your finger tips. First you have the Bingo right up front and center, but there are also several enticing extras along the way. The chat screen comes fixed right there in front of you, so there is no need to keep switching back and forth between windows. This is a great feature but, one we have seen before. What takes things one steps above is the fact that you have your minigames right there as well. So before, after, or even during you Bingo you can give them a whirl at any time.

If you are a new player to any site it is always a good thing when you have options to try the games before you spend your money on them. How else are you to know if this is a good fit or not? Jackpotjoy hears you, and they have come up with a very acceptable answer. They have decided to offer freeplay to any player on several different games. One that we found to be particularly amusing was, "Badabingo," the Mafia version of things. And to do you even one better, when you play for free you win points. At most sites these points would be worth nothing and would just go away after you were done for the day. At Jackpotjoy you can trade them in for regular Prize Drawings. This is a great perk that as far as we know is completely unique to this site.

The time will come when you are ready to take the plunge and go for the cash. When it does, the money is just ready and waiting. Jackpotjoy lives up to its name here, and they pony up some nice amounts for their progressive jackpots. They certainly tempted us!

We wish we could just skip this part, but there were a few areas that could use a little improvement. We found it odd that a UK based company offered free phone support for US customers, but no phone support for UK or European customers. It would be nice if this were evened out, preferably in the form of phone support for all. Also when you first log on as a visitor, you are simply inundated with pop up ads. This gets old really fast and a company like Jackpotjoy should be beyond such marketing ploys. Finally while it is very nice to see that the site supports Mac, we found that it would not load just right on our system.

Of all the things Jackpotjoy does well, their games are definitely their strong point and that is exactly how it should be. We did find areas for improvement, but so what? These factors won't even be notice by the majority of players. If you are in the market for one great Bingo game delivered on a high tech platform, then Jackpotjoy is the place for you.
