The world of online Bingo becomes more crowded everyday. It seems as though there are an endless number of halls lining up, just hoping you will choose to spend your Bingo dollar with them. Well there is one face in the crowd working hard to stand out from the rest, Getminted Bingo. We think that this place might just leave us with a sweet taste in our mouths.

Getminted just happens to be owned and operated by none other than the fabulous GlobalCom. We love to see this name because it means a safe and secure playing environment. Also you should note that Getminted Bingo is just a small part of a whole suite of sites under the same Getminted name.

A first impression is always important, and Getminted answered the call. As soon as you enter you feel a relaxed vibe from the lack of clutter and chaos. It is straight forward and simple so that even the first time player can find their way around with ease. Those of you still fighting the dial-up battle will be happy to know that the site chose to go rather light on both animation and graphics. This means a slower load time for you, which ultimately means a better Bingo experience.

In fact, while we are on the subject of dial-up, Getminted points out that the longest these players should have to wait for a game is two minutes. This time, while not earth shattering, is an honest estimate when using a slower connection. For those of us who still find ourselves in need of a little tutoring Getminted has come to our rescue. Check out the "Get Started," page for some great tips to get you gaming that much faster. We found a bit of a gap here in that while the hall offers all these great how-to's, they don't really have a good one for Bingo. We know it's not the most complicated game out there, but we just like to see a good scope on the main subject.

All online Bingo halls make you jump through registration hoops, but Getminted does ask some extra questions. However in the grand scheme of things we really don't think you'll notice. One thing you will notice is that when you make your initial deposit you are given the option of setting up your account in one of several currencies. This feature is not totally unique to Getminted, but we still feel it is a nice touch.

Now that registration in naught but a fond memory, it's time for our favorite part, playing Bingo. We found both the good and the bad in the actual game, and feel the need to inform you about both. First the simple design of the site works as a double edged sword here. It allows the games to load almost instantly, but leaves us feeling at though we are missing something. It just lacks punch. The site offers several forms of entertainment such as chat rooms, mini games, and some nice progressive jackpots to complement their Bingo, but again there is just no flair. We have been praising Getminted for their ease of use, but they really let us down in this case. First we had to search for a long time before we came across that tiny little button that allows you to change games. We tried hitting "yes," on the exit button repeatedly but found that to have absolutely no affect what so ever. Yes, we were searching for the hammer by the time we finally figured it out. Another odd fact here is that if you don't pay, you can't even watch the play. We know watching Bingo being played is about as exciting as watching grass grow, but for those newbie's out there how else are they going to learn. As we pointed out, the site does not have a great guide on the subject, and now they are not allowed to watch. In this area we are greatly disappointed. Staring card prices are very low, 10p, but we still just simply want more.

Now its time for a little trip back to the beginning, in this case, that means the home page. We wanted to spend some time with the customer service department. We found it to be proficient in answering all of our questions, but rather limited in its mediums. They only option they offer is e-mail. This is nice, but they could do better. The best choice would always be a phone number, but we'll take what we can get. Also while we were checking out the rest of the site we managed to find our way into a separate site in the Getminted family. We looked around, say what they had, and then hit the button to take us back to Getminted Bingo. Only problem is, that's not where it took us. We found ourselves instead at Foxy Bingo, weird.

So at the end of the day is this the place we send you to find your Bingo home? It depends on the player. Unquestionably this site has its problems, but they may be ones that some people can live with. Getminted offers a solid game of Bingo in a simple straightforward format.
