Winzingo Bingo
The whole point of Bingo is that it is supposed to be a whole lot of fun. So with this in mind would you spend your Bingo hours in a hall named WayBoreingBingo.com? No, probably not, and for good reason. If a hall can't even come up with a fun and exciting name, then we don't hold much hope for the inventiveness of their game. Well a fun name is the least of your troubles at Winzingo Bingo. This nifty nickname brings a smile to our hearts every time we stop by. Now the question is will their Bingo deliver the same light hearted joy?
One sure fire way to ruin online gaming for you forever is to stumble into a less then secure location. Players release some very secure information to their halls and they need to be able to trust them completely. Winzingo understands this line of thinking, and as such they hooked up with TGN, or The Gaming Network Ltd. These guys really know their security stuff and can list such power players as the Irish bookmaker Paddy Power on their resume. Your mind can rest at ease that you have made a very wise decision.
Our first impression if Winzingo did admittedly leave much to be desired. With a name like Winzingo we were simply expecting a better decorated hall that looked like a party in progress. What we found was a very bare bones set-up that visually was not up to par. The up side to the super simple look is that we had no trouble finding our way around. The new member section proved very helpful, as did our encounter with Winzingo's CMs. Each individual aspect preformed well, the site as a whole just didn't have the flair that we had come expecting.
Our disappointment with the home page aside, we were very happy to see that Winzingo Bingo has real powerhouse software to run their games, Parlay. This non-downloading platform is responsible for some of the best games in the industry. The sign-up process is painless so that before you know it you're on your way to a great game of Bingo. Winzingo hosts both 75 and 90-ball versions of their games here. This is a nice change from so many halls choosing to offer just one or the other. Games load quickly and it is a nice perk that the chat functions integrate right into your console. We spent some time skipping through several chat rooms and found a delightful buzz going in each one. We should note that during our review the 90-ball seemed a bit busier, but this may be due to the heavy numbers of UK players calling Winzingo home. The CMs were every bit as fun and helpful as we found them earlier, and the halls are always open. When you are looking for a change of pace you will find that Winzingo offers up a nice selection of non-Bingo casino games to tempt you. The Roulette was particularly nice with its smooth non-downloading format, but all were very well delivered.
As far as promotions go we were very pleased to find a very deep pool compared to many of Winzingo's main competitors. Players will have the chance at some lovely non-cash options such as gift certificates for M&S and Toni & Guy. There is a very neat weekly contest in which Winzingo asks their players to think up new promotions for the site to offer. This is a very innovative idea that we have not seen before and does a lot to make the players feel as though their opinions really matter to Winzingo. If there is a downside here it is that there is currently no freeplay option. This can be a nice benefit, especially for new players who want some time to get their feet wet before committing to the full plunge.
Customer Support is providing via e-mail and free phone for UK customers. One thing that is not stated very clearly is that the support desk does have operating hours, and is not available 24/7. When we contacted the help line we were told that support is only available Monday through Friday, 9 to 5. So if you run into a wall on Friday night, you're just going to have to wait until Monday morning for some relief. We should note though that our interactions with the agents showed them to be very helpful and professional. So when they are there you should have no problems.
Winzingo definitely has some work to do if they want to be competitive in this over crowded market place. Their site is in desperate need of a face lift, and customer support should really be ready and waiting at all hours of the day and night. However, the games are great. If they can take the steps to capitalize on this very strong foundation, they could find themselves leading the pack in no time. We really liked the feeling of playing in a more intimate club rather than an outdoor stadium and that should count for something. If this sounds like a nice change of pace to you, then Winzingo Bingo may be worth your looking into.
