It seems as though each and every day brings a new face to the world of online Bingo. Well, not to complicate things we would like to throw a new name into the hat, Getminted Bingo. Will this new site bring us to a new level of Bingo nirvana, or just leave us feeling the bloat?

Well one thing is for certain, Getminted starts out strong. This hall is part of the GlobalCom network, a company whose name we have come to know and trust. What this means to the player is that this is a place they can trust. GlobalCom has a wonderful reputation for both security and integrity that is hard to earn in this field.

Like a blind date, we are always nervous right before we enter a new site for the first time, but with Getminted Bingo we had nothing to worry about. The site is very tidy and offers a clear navigational path to all the different areas. We like that the animation and graphics are tasteful, but not overdone. This will make it much easier to load on those players with slower internet connections.

If the straightforward approach to navigation wasn't enough, just spend a few minutes in the "Get Started" section. This great how-to will answer all your questions and send you on your way. We did feel that the help section could have offered better support on the actual playing of the game Bingo in case a true novice stumbles in. However they made up for this lack by giving a nice out line specifically for dial-up users. It points out that even with a slow connection your game should be up and running in under two minutes. Not the world record, but a good balance between detailed play and monster downloads.

As you make your way through registration you will notice that Getminted asks a few more questions than do most of its peers. This won't get in your way though, and you'll find yourself breezing through the process. An interesting side note is that at this site players can choose their currency. Your account can be set up in Euros, Dollars, or pounds to fit your needs. A nice touch if we do say so ourselves.

With setup finished and behind us, now we get to get down to the good stuff, Bingo. All that talk about the simple design of the site is even more important when you are actually loading the games. The games load with amazing speed though some of you may find the look a bit boring compared to other sites. It just goes to show that everything is a trade off. In their same straightforward style they offer you the regular options such as chat, Bingo, instant wins, and mini games. With the simplicity of the interface we would expect navigation within the games to be a snap, but instead found it to be a bit tricky at times. The button needed to toggle to different Bingo games is very small and easy to miss, and on our screen the exit feature just plain did not work. Needless to say this did not make us very happy. Also there was no way to watch the action if you didn't have a card in the game. We realize that Bingo is not a spectator sport, but it is often helpful to take in what's going on before you drop a pile of cash on something you don't understand. Getminted balances this by offering cards as low as 10p, so the investment is not huge during your learning curve, but a free play or two would go a long way in our opinion.

Back to the main page we go to look into the issue of customer support. You can just bet that we have few questions for them at this point. At this time support is only offered by e-mail. While we found it to be very helpful, it is always nice to have options. Most especially we would like to see a telephone number as sometimes a live person is the only way to go. Another odd thing we ran into is that when we poked around a bit and ended up at a different Getminted site, clicking the link to take us back did not deliver us where we expected. We found ourselves instead at Foxy Bingo, the sister site to Getminted. We guess this is another bug for the tech guys.

This hall definitely has its problems, but is also has some very strong games. It just depends on the user. If the style of the page doesn't bother you, and you get the hang of the navigation you might be able to make yourself right at home here. The competent customer service, healthy jackpots, and friendly chat rooms might also do their part in bringing you back for more.
